The Federation of Southern Cooperatives/Land Assistance Fund's mission has remained the same over five decades. Most of our success over the past half-century can be attributed to persistence, hard work and consistent implementation to this mission: We strive toward the development of self-supporting communities with programs that increase income and enhance other opportunities; and we strive to assist in land retention and development, especially for African-American, but essentially for all family farmers
INVEST WITH A TAX DEDUCTIBLE DONATION
We are a non-profit, cooperatively owned organization.
The Federation is not able to do this work alone. We rely on the support of the federal and state governments for half of our operating budget. The other half comes from foundations, churches, cooperatives, corporations, individual donors and our membership.
